Wrostum started with a simple frustration: most analytics tools describe the past well but offer little help when a decision has to be made now. We set out to close that gap.
Our Story
From spreadsheet fatigue to structured intelligence
Wrostum was founded by a small group of people who had spent years building forecasts manually — stitching together spreadsheets, disconnected reports, and gut-feel adjustments to support investment and planning decisions. Every cycle repeated the same work and carried the same risk of silent errors.
We built Wrostum to remove that friction: a system that ingests operational and market data, applies consistent modeling logic, and presents the output in a form decision-makers can actually use under time pressure.
What began as an internal tool for our own planning work has grown into a platform used by investors and strategic planners who need structured, repeatable analysis rather than another dashboard to interpret.

We exist to reduce the gap between data collection and confident action — not by adding more reports, but by structuring the ones that matter.
Clarity over volume
We prioritize signal that changes a decision over metrics that simply exist. If a number doesn't inform an action, it doesn't belong on the screen.
Consistency over intuition
Models are applied the same way every time. Judgment still matters, but it should be applied on top of a stable foundation, not instead of one.
Accountability by design
Every output traces back to the inputs that produced it, so decisions can be reviewed, questioned, and improved rather than taken on faith.

Before a feature ships, we ask whether it holds up under real operating conditions — not just in a clean demo. Methodology is documented, not implied.
Restraint in claims
We present probabilities and ranges, not guarantees. Investment and planning decisions carry risk, and we design our tools to reflect that honestly.
Usable by default
Analysis that requires a data science team to interpret isn't finished. We aim for outputs that a planner or investor can act on directly.

Wrostum is built by a compact team spanning data engineering, quantitative modeling, and product design. Rather than scaling headcount for its own sake, we keep the group close to the problem — reviewing model behavior, customer feedback, and edge cases directly, instead of through layers of process.
